A CHRISTAS LIGHT CHARITY PROJECT

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BE THE GOOD ONES & HOLIDAY BRIGHT LIGHTS

About.

INSPIRED BY LIGHT

In 2024, Mason Hembree & Hembree Window Cleaning sought out to find a local family in need of a little help to brighten their Christmas season. A simple request to nominate a local family turned into an outpouring of support from the community and local businesses wishing to participate.

The Lights of Hope Project provides local families with charitable Christmas Light Installations and other support during the holiday season. We source families nominated by our community and selected by Be the Good Ones for installation. Upon selection, a group of The Lights of Hope Project installers band together armed with Christmas decorations from Holiday Bright Lights to brighten a home, apartment, condo or other living space. Participating companies can showcase their support of the project by displaying their Installer or Sponsor badge. To find a local company that has vested a donation to the project this year, check the “participating vendors” section of this website.

HOW TO HELP

The Lights of Hope Project Would Love Your Assistance. A direct monetary donation can be accepted [below] or you can help with any of the following:
01. NOMINATE

We are always looking for families in need during the Christmas season. We prefer to help families with Children that will most appreciate the lights but will review every nomination. Spots are limited and we try our best to get as many families as possible.

02. SUPPORT

This website lists both installation and sponsoring vendors. Sponsoring vendors have agreed to donate a portion of proceeds to the Lights of Hope Project October 31 – December 25th for services including Christmas Light Installation, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, power washing, screen repair, painting and other property services. Installation badges are provided to vendors that have vested to provide installation labor for the project.

03. VOLUNTEER

We are exclusively seeking volunteers from property services companies or companies that use ladders, boom lifts, and other high-altitude services. If you are interested in providing installation labor or would like to become a sponsoring company (vest a portion of proceeds to Be the Good Ones), then we want you on our team!

NOMINATE A FAMILY

We do not have any requirements for nominated families. However, we highly recommend that your family meets one of our preferred criteria for installation charity: Children under 18 that will enjoy the lights, recent hardship financial/medical/other, does not have family that can assist.
